To complete your order you need to decide how to make your payment. You have the choice of entering your chosen credit / debit card details via our secure server or you can pay with the security of Paypal if you prefer. Alternatively if you want to place an order without entering any sensitive information, call us on 0116 2779537 and we'll take your order details for you over the phone, along with your credit card details. Please note we cannot accept cheques for payment but we do take all major credit / debit cards.
We appreciate that ordering online the first time can be a little confusing so if you have any problems or are unsure of any aspects of the ordering process please contact us and we'll try to help you out.

Q. I Live outside the UK and would like to purchase your posters & prints. How can I do this?
A. We ship worldwide, so you're in luck. Be sure to check your currency using the selection tool before purchasing, but remember, this is just a guide. Your card issuers rate may differ from our displayed rate.

Q. Is your site secure? How do I know my details are safe?
A. Your security is our priority. All payment processing pages are encrypted using 128bit encryption. Once your card details have been captured for payment processing they can only be accessed by 2 authorized members of staff. Once payment has been taken successfully all payment details are obfuscated immediately from all further order processing systems and deleted from any computer based system. Q. How can I pay for my order?
A. We accept most major credit / debit cards and Paypal. If you are paying by credit / debit card please ensure you enter your details via our secure online checkout carefully and input all the information that is on your card. Alternatively you can call through any orders and pay over the phone.
We regret we cannot accept cheques or postal orders.
Q. I'm trying to place an order and I'm getting an error, whats up?

Q. I have a discount voucher but I'm not sure how I use it?
A. If you go to the "view your order" page, you'll see there's a apply coupon submit box, just below your order summary. Simply apply it in there and you'll receive your discount!
Q. I can't see your VAT rate? Have you implemented the 15% VAT discount?
A. Yes we have. All prices shown are inclusive of VAT @ 15% which is applicable for all EU countries. All countries outside the EU will be charged 0%. This will take place during the checkout phase.
You can see the VAT breakdown of the prices at any point by viewing your order.
Please note : VAT is now back to 17.5% and is charged at this from January 1st 2010. All prices reflect this change.
Q. I'm using your site in outside of the UK, how can I find out how much things cost?
A. We do have a currency conversion feature on the site which will give you a rough guide as to how much the products cost, however please only use this as a guide as exchange rates do fluctuate and your card issuer's rate may differ to the prices shown on our site. We try to keep these conversion rates as updated as possible but if in doubt, choose the GBP price and double check any conversion with your preffered conversion site.
Q. I can't seem to find what I want on your search. Whats up with it?
A. Try refining your search to fewer terms if you're not getting many results. EG Star Wars Postcards won't pull up many, put in Star Wars Postcard and you'll get over 300, just put Star Wars & you'll get a whole heap more!
Another thing, if you've already visited a product, make sure you're searching the whole site and not just the current category. If you still can't find what you want feel free to email us and we'll try to help.
Q. I've bought something and I want to return it? What do I do?
A. If you have bought something from us and received it and decided you don't like it you can return it easily enough. You need to let us know within 7 days of receiving your purchase. Keep the item in its original sealed packaging and email us at sales@thefilmstore.com quoting your order number and we'll send you full instructions of what to do next.
If the item is faulty or damaged, please email our sales team straight away (sales@thefilmstore.com) and we'll send further details of how to get a replacement / credit.

Q. How much is shipping / carriage / postage going to be?
A. Simple. If your order is over £10.00 then you'll be eligable for free shipping (if you're based in the UK). If its under £10.00 then its a flat £1.75 charge. If you are ordering from outside the UK, the basic shipping charge is more expensive. To find out your exact costs, go to the checkout and you'll see any charges before you have to enter and identifying information. |
